DARK SHE BECAME

Screaming on roadside
Was a child inside
I saw her getting afraid
Like a newly wed maid
She was scared of future
Present horrified her too
She screamed out of emotion
Finding herself – alone in crew
She looked for her mother
Like she always used to do
But there she was alone
One in large crew.

She giggled with pain
People amazed her too
The all seemed so distant
Close ones were hardly few
She loved that nature
With wings she once flew
But the wings were waxed
They melted before she knew
She shivered with nostalgia
That harsh wind’s blew
She loved to enter
The womb so blue
But the blue drowned her
Thrashing all new
It was thrashed and beaten
The spirit – once new.

She raised out of ocean
Like a mermaid so rude
Cats and snakes
Tempted her root
Dark she became
Dark – the new game.
Tiger like her claws
She glided without pause
Angry and calm
Elemental balm
The child still breathed
Happy or in wrath
Yet, she glided on
To kill an ancient yawn
On a dark moony night
She reached that child
And ate her all
With a peaceful growl
And lied on the peak
A moonlight’s streak
She played with energy
Stars’ strategy
There she revived
The child inside
And phoenix they became
Aaah! Cosmic game.
