Distant blood relations

We maynot have shared
Our childhood
Maybe we are poles apart
I sometimes try to figure you all out
Like you as real persons
Only to realise
I don't even know
Some of yours'
Full names.
There are noticable differences
Intentions, mentality
Conduct.
But the genes
They never lie.
The things we like
The way we speak
Reactions, expressions.
Distant blood relations.
I wish we were closer
So much so
To be better than born
Of a common womb.
But then
We haven't shared childhood
Neither we have been together
In ups and downs
Pains and pleasures.
I don't even know your full names
Leave apart your favorite color, music.
Your fears.
We are but freshers.
Is it too late
To begin afresh?
Now that we have all
Grown old and mature.
Now that we know
That whatever happened
Happened.
And no matter what
We do share the blood
The genes.
Let me introduce myself to you
Will you be open too?
But then I don't even know
Yours' full names.
Would you too take a step
And grow beyond names.
There is so much in common
To ignore.
Also the differences
In core.
But Isn't love
Supposed to conquer?
Would you too take a step?
But there you stand
In pretentions and egos
Smiling in front of cameras
Doubting still in core.
Or maybe we are
But mirror reflections.
Remember
The same blood?
Aah! It is all
Just too much to ignore.
I wish for a utopia!
